Broadcaster and Breast Cancer Foundation ambassador, Sarah Gandy, joined Fletch, Vaughan and Megan to talk about bringing the 'Change and Check' campaign to New Zealand.

“This is already a campaign that exists in the UK... I it saw online. Change and Check is stickers in dressing rooms showing the 9 signs and symptoms of Breast Cancer."

The feedback to this campaign in the UK has been incredibly positive, even saving lives.

"All these women started coming forward saying 'I saw saw these stickers, and now I'm in Breast Cancer treatment, and I never would have done anything if I didn't see these stickers."

The 'Change and Check' campaign kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, after staggering research showing how young Kiwi women are neglecting their breast health, with 1 in 6 under 45 never checking their breasts for changes.

"Reality is people are really busy… it's the thing that gets thrown to the side, but when you’re out trying a top or a dress, you maybe have 2 minutes to yourself, and you’re standing in front of a mirror… you can quickly have a look, have a touch, do whatever."
