Our very own Cam Mansel talks to Woman’s Day about how he dealt with bullies

We're so proud of you Cam! 

Cam from the ZM Late Show has a lot to say when it comes to bullying and shared his personal experience in support of the anti-bulling campaign Pink Shirt Day!

From being bullied about his body and his sexuality, school wasn’t easy for Cam. 

Cam recalled the “stages where [he] felt super-alone and had no friends.” 

He shared to Woman's Day that "kids go through stages where they grow out and grow up, but I had a grow-out phase and became quite a chubster.” 

"People called me fairy or f**t. I got bullied for my sexuality before I even knew what sexuality was. They'd say, 'You're gay,' but I hadn't even thought about that. Their comments really made me question myself, but it wasn't until uni that I fully accepted it." 

We love Cam, we love how he’s a role model to the LGBTQ+ community and those who may have not come out yet. It’s also amazing seeing the amount of diversity we’re seeing online!
