In Japan the word 'Viking' means 'Buffets.' In 1957 a restaurant manager had travelled abroad and saw various ways each culture prepared and ate food. Due to the Swedish name 'Smörgåsbord' proving a complicated word to pronounce, the word 'viking' came into play. More explained in this episode!
